What should India expect from a young Parliament?
This is the right time for the generation next politicians to sit and think. We have a wonderful constitution with many features and great ideals. All its citizens, irrespective of caste and creed are protected. It is a plate full of delicious recipes! But, unfortunately, it appears, that the plate is served to the people with their hands tied. The recent failures of the Governments, Judiciary, Executive in certain areas, is a cause of concern. Take for instance, the failure of the investigating agencies in certain recent cases, or the failure of judiciary in delivering quick justice, or involvement of politicians and top beuracrats in messay affairs. Every where, it is the common man who is losing. Though there are more than many remedies available in our constitution, who is there is implement them. The Government, which is supposed to ensure smooth functioning of administration, is failing time and again-the recent cases of swine flu, terrorist attacks etc. The Judiciary, in its part, is failing in speedy justice, therey many people are roaming scott free and continuing their brutal acts(the recent case of rajahmundry, A.P., god only knows how a bail is given to such notorious person). The investigating agencies failure in speeding up their processes, thereby denying the justice in right time etc etc.
In all the above failures, it is the common citizen, who is losing the most, either ones life, property or for that matter anything. And, we are living under a consitution that is full of rights, duties etc etc. A billion people are ruled by a small set of irresponsible segment, finding excuses and blaming others, for their failure.
As some one rightly said, it is not the fault of the system, but the people implementing the system. Before it is too late, and things go out of control, it is better, that this (ir)responsible attitude be changed, lest there may be a chaos!!!

The definition of a politician, an economist and a scientist respectively are: politician-introduce dogmas and bring about social reforms, this endeavoring to establish a congenial relationship among the people so that they could coexist peacefully. (2) the economist enhance the wealth and material prosperity of his country. (3) the scientist discover laws of nature and improve amenities and comforts in the world. In a country like India all these are expected to be done to all perfections. Unfortunately it took a wrong direction. An economist cannot do any justice to a political desk. Here we are miserably failing.
